MORE. My Cup Runneth Over, #17 in The Psalm 23 Mysteries by Debbie Viguié, is the book of “more!” in a very unique way. We see more of Traci and Mark. There are a ton of cross- over references from other books and series that Viguié has written (Sweet Seasons series, Spy Games series yet to come, more of Green Pastures references.) We see more of Martin, and I am actually learning to like him and look forward to his Spy Games series, coming soon. More Josh and Candace, and glory be, more Becca, (hold the sugar, please!!) More Liam- now we wonder about his background. More Geanie and Joseph in their silent desperation to have a child, keep their friends safe, and now, stay safe themselves. But best of all, of course, we get more Jeremiah and Cindy. Not just the lovey- dovey, although Jeremiah is improving in that corner, but we see just how much Jeremiah and Cindy have changed. Emotionally and spiritually. Jeremiah is actually thinking more like a civilian and even thinking hard about what he may have missed (he’s a Jewish rabbi) in the prophets. But I love how Cindy has become braver, stronger, and her faith is spreading to others like you might picture an amoeba moving out in all directions. This book is a turning point on which the rest of the series may hinge. By the way, this is a series that you ABSOLUTELY MUST read IN ORDER. Nuances, hints, inferences, plus gut feelings must all be taken very seriously. After all, The Psalm 23 Mysteries is a series about murder. Mixed with faith, laughter, and love. If you are strict about language, there are a few words. Definitely the best book of the series yet, this was one giant puzzle with a few more odd-shaped pieces gloriously fitting in.

Love this series and characters. I have learned so much about the Jewish faith. As a former church secretary I can relate to the work Cindy does and it only enhances the stories. I’m going to be so sad when the series is over.

Take Christianity, Judaism, a church secretary, and a Rabbi, add some murder and side bar intrigue and you have the Psalm 23 Mysteries. I live this series. Every book has something new and fresh with great character development, relationship building, and of course at least one dead person. The answer is not always obvious and just when you think to have it figured out, Debbie will throw a spanner in the works. A fantastic series that will make you impatient to read the next one.
